The four colossuses of the frontage represent sitted Ramesses II, capped with a nemes which surmounts the pschent, the smiling face. On their pectoral and their arms is repeated the royal cartouche. On the sides of the seat are illustrated prisoners. On right side and on the left of each colossus, the daughters, the sons, the wife and the mother of the Pharaoh are represented in the reduced face; their image doesn't reach even the knee of the king.
