Falcon


Horus, the god-falcon is adored in the temple of Edfu. It was at the beginning a god of the sky, powerful and quarrelsome. Horus the Old one was confused later with the Râ god-sun;, then with the son of Isis and Osiris, its homonym, guard of the Pharaohs.
