The village of Iqlit. The former Egyptians adored the Nile under the features of Hâpy, a subordinate divinity represented on the walls of the temples like an androgyne with the hanging breasts. Hidden in a cave, near Aswan, Hâpy supplied the rising by pouring water of a vase with libation.
