Amenophis III courtyard


The Amenophis III courtyard, in the temple of Luxor, is surrounded by 11 upright statues of Amenophis III in pink granite. On each one of them is carved or engraved one of the wives of the Pharaoh. The courtyard precedes the large colonnade (at the bottom) (52 m out of 20 m), composed of 2 lines of 7 campaniform columns.
