Der Heilige See im Karnak


The Holy lake of Karnak, was intended for ritual navigations. At the bottom there are propylaea of the South, 4 pylons arranged from XVIIIth dynasty. They are preceded by the court of the hiding-place where the priests relegated, as in a furniture depository, the statues which did not have any more a role to play.
