Representation of the Râ god in the temple of Luxor. The priests of Heliopolis did one of the most former creative gods of it than we know. Thereafter, Râ assimilates other divinities, among whom Horus, from which it borrows its aspect of falcon. It gives birth to many myths, related on the world of dead and that of the alive ones.
